Draw a glulam portal, roof truss, floor joist, bearer, deck or pergola on the grid, load it, and see it analysed for every load combination as you draw. Each member is designed to AS 1720.1 with φ by category, k1 by load duration, k4, k6, k9, the k12 stability factor and creep — bending, shear, compression, tension, combined actions and long-term deflection — and can be auto-sized. Then estimate the timber, treatment, labour, connections and footings, print A3 drawings and export a PDF calculation report, Excel, DXF and JSON.

Preliminary design: characteristic values are typical published values — confirm against AS 1720.1 and your supplier; joints, bearing and notches are not checked. Rates are indicative.
